Our Story

Our Story

Milad Law was built on a simple idea: good representation starts with honesty and a real understanding of how the law works.

“You won’t find another defense attorney who’s so interested in the mechanics of the law, the actual bones of the law… and I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear. I’m here to tell you what you need to hear and what it takes to fix the problem.”

Our Team

Luckie Milad is a trial lawyer, legal scholar, and advocate handling criminal, family, immigration, and appellate cases across Alabama. Her background includes trial litigation, appellate work, a judicial clerkship, and teaching criminal law. She brings disciplined preparation and straightforward guidance to every case.

Our Community

Invested in Our Community

Milad Law is part of the Birmingham community. Luckie serves through the Magic City Bar Association, the Junior League of Birmingham, and other local organizations. Our work reflects a commitment to the people and families who make this city home.

What Happens When You Reach Out

Clients reach out to us during difficult moments. The facts may be unclear. Emotions may be high. Your situation may already feel like it’s moving too fast. Our job is to slow things down, explain what matters, and give you a process that makes sense. Here’s how we do that.

Step 01

Tell us what the issue is.

We need the basics. The charge. The court. The type of family matter. The immigration concern. You don’t have to deliver your entire life story on the first call. We start with the key information that actually affects the law.

Step 02

We explain what the law allows and what matters most right now.

Every case has a first priority. In criminal matters, it’s usually bond. In family and immigration cases, it’s understanding the status of any filings or orders already in place. We tell you where your case stands and what the law realistically lets us accomplish at this stage.

Step 03

You get a quote based on the real work your case requires.

We don’t throw out numbers just to get you in the door. Our quotes reflect the complexity of the case, the time it will require, and the strategy needed to pursue the strongest outcome.

Step 04

If we move forward, we focus on the strongest path toward the best possible result.

We’re not here to drag your case out or make empty promises. We identify the most effective way forward, prepare thoroughly, and center our work on the result that matters most for you under the law.
